The story starts with 3 young little children exploring an old abandoned circus. The sky is becoming dark and the time has passed, it's time for the three young children to leave their adventure and go home. The 3 young children are about to leave the old spooky abandoned circus where nothing is left. Only the rotten wooden stage and the empty cells of the animals. Suddenly something loud happen and the scream of the girl is being heard in the empty space of the circus. The two little boys are scared but their friend is missing, they run where the voice came from and they see their friend lying dead in the floor where next to her is a balloon. They immediately run away from the abandoned circus and they seek for help. The incident shocks the society and rumors saying that there is a serial killer in the circus. Accidents in the past show that something is happening in the old circus. Some people have died without explanation there. A detective is being hired in order to bring light and solve the mystery of the girl's death. The detective takes the decision to go by himself to the old circus to find out what is happening. He explores the circus when he faces a blind secret room. He enters and he finds out a filing cabinet a desk and old performers costumes. He opens the filing cabinet where he finds a knife covered with blood spots, some papers with random notes on them and a picture of the circus owner with the mayor of the city before it closed. As soon as he discovers these evidence a loud noise is heard. The door opens, the detective faces the owner of the circus where there was no track of him in the area since the circus closed. The owner seems determined to eliminate the detective because he discovered some evidence that they might lead to his arrestment. A battle starts between the two men. In the end the detective grabs the knife and stabs the owner in the heart. During the last moments of his life, bleeding to death he whispers: "You will never find him."
-I know that this storyboard seems a little bit long and I take into consideration that I will have only one minute. But there will be no more than 3 different acts during the storyboard that will show the incidents and the plot.
The fact that we don't know in the end if the owner is a serial killer leaves the audience with some questions which is what i want to achieve. But i suspect that this might be a problem because the role of my character is not clearly seen in the story; only in the first scene where he kills the young girl by choking her into death with the pink balloon.
