This is much more professional and polished OGR document. Good stuff. Firstly, I'm excited by your possible choice of film - Dogville - a really unique choice, especially in light of the essay question and I would encourage you to pursue it - a film without a set, but with unique 'production design' and a innovative 'visual concept' (some of your other choices have been pretty much done to death).
Okay - just a reminder that you're looking to take on your own 'visual concept' - and that these paintings are for a new CG adaptation of King Solomon's Mines - you don't have to go for photorealism, Anastos - you can stylise your environment. Also - King Solomon's Mines is set in a particular location with a particular culture, which you should consider - so think about any colours, textures, shapes etc. particularly associated with the African location - these might help you find an innovative approach to creating these environments.
We know that drawing is not yet a strength of yours, but your thumbnails feel confident, and I want you to seek out as much help and assistance with your technique as humanly possible! Looking at your thumbnails, it's hard to feel the enormity of the environments - you need to think more about your POV - consider drawing these spaces from a human point of view (not from a helicopter view) - as this encourage you to think about more dramatic perspectives and a greater sense of SCALE.
