Storyboard sketches

These are some rough guidance sketches for my storyboard. I have divided my storyboard in 5 different scenes.

1st Scene: "The Murder".

I wrote on the paper about what is happening in each scene but i decided to erase them from my scans and explain it in more detail here:

This is my first scene where we are introduced to the serial killer which in this scene he commits a crime during a performance. In frame 1: Complete shot showing the circus at night time. In frame 1 there will be a zooming to the door of the circus. In frame 2: Rear long shot in the interior of the circus showing the seats of the audience and (lights on). In frame 2 there is a performance stunt that is about to happen. In frame 3 the lights are off and there is a zoom shot in the seats where the serial killer is approaching the victim. (Lights off). In frame 4 there is a 3/4 shot in the serial killer approaching the victim and murdering it. There is a POV transition from frame 4 which will be showing the action of killing the victim. In frame 5 there is a 3/4 shot showing the serial killer going away from the crime scene while the lights are still off. In frame 6 longshot  with two transitions. First is zooming when the lights are on in the victims seat to her dead face. Second transition is on the serial killer leaving from the exit behind the seats. In frame 7 there is a medium shot showing the serial killer leaving from the exit and leaving behind unexpectedly by mistake a clue. (The clue is his nose).

2nd Scene: "The News".

In my second scene we are introduced to the fact that the murder was from the serial killer of the town. Also we are introduced to the detective which accepts the case and goes to the circus for investigation.
In frame 1 there is a half shot of the news and from the telephone ringing. In frame 2 there is a medium shot to the detective's office and showing the detective picking up the phone. There is a transition in frame 2 to the detectives face. In frame 3 there is a close shot to the detectives face with a question mark and an exclamation mark. Half face and half hand holding the telephone in frame 3. In frame 4 there is a full shot showing the detectie leaving from his office. In frame 5 the detective in a complete shot getting into his car. In frame 6 there is a POV shot in the car from the detective driving the car. In frame 7 again a rear complete shot of the car arriving at the circus. In frame 8 there is a close shot with the detective entering in the circus.

3rd Scene: "The Investigation".  4th Scene: "Analyzing The Evidence".

In my third scene the detective is investigating the crime scene in the circus while he is being watched by a figure. Probably the serial killer. During his investigation he finds the clown nose (evidence the serial killer dropped in his crime the detective investigates) and goes back to his office to analyze the data. In frame 1 the detective enters the circus and approaches the crime scene while he speaks with the circus owner. In the background there will be a panning into the figure that he is watching him. In frame 2 the detective approaches the seat where the victim died.  In frame 3 he approaches the exit where he finds the nose the serial killer dropped by accident. Again in the background there will be again a panning in the figure that has been watching him. In frame 4 there is the quick shots with the detective leaving the circus, entering his car and approaching his office. In my fourth scene the detective analyzes the data and finds who is actually the serial killer in the computer screen. He prints and puts all the data in the filling cabinet. In frame 1 there is a complete shot of the room by showing the detective analyzing the data in his computer and in the background of his window a black figure watching him.  In frame 2 POV scene where there is the screen of the computer showing the name of the detective. In frame 3 full shot again in his room and zoom in in his face an expression of pleasure because he found who is the serial killer. In frame 4 the detective moving in the room to the right and storing the evidence in the filing cabinet.

5th Scene: (Ending Scene) "The murder of the Detective".

In the fifth and last scene there is a fight between the detective and the serial killer where in the end the detective lies dead near his filing cabinet where all the evidence is stored. In frame one there is the knocking on the door. In frame two the detective is opening the door. In frame three the detective is facing a clown and suspecting that it's the serial killer. Transition in frame three to zoom in the serial killer's face. In frame four the serial killer attacking the detective. In frame five the serial killer stabbing the detective from another shot angle. In frame six the detective falling on his filing cabinet with all the evidence inside for the serial killer and the serial killer leaving the crime scene. In frame seven the serial killer has killed the detective and has left the crime scene. The detective in frame seven is lying dead on/near his filing cabinet. In frame sever transition in the dead body/face of the detective. End.

Changes in the order of the scene might be done.
